Summary:
One of the most time-consuming tasks in the Additive Manufacturing Lab at Canoo was the task of 3DÂ scanning parts for comparisons or 3D printing. Typically, 3D scanning an object would require and operator to place an object on a table and rotate the scanner around the object manually in order to capture all angles of a part. I designed this positioning table to allow an operator to complete a 360 scan without needing to position and initiate each capture manually.
