Summary:
After buying a plotter anticipating to use it to cut vinyl stickers, I spent a summer learning to code and improving the hardware to allow me to draw using a pen attached to the machine.
Plotter Modification.
Originally a vinyl cutter, I needed to modify my machine to hold the pen so that I could draw using the code I wrote. I designed and printed a simple holder that would allow me to hold any type of pen, and in the future, I could even design more customized holders for other things such as a watercolor brush.
